What is a specific strength and conditioning program??

It is not the specific running or swimming training program..... it is the training that helps keep you stronger, leaner, more supple, even between your left and right sides, increases your core stability and strength, which then in turn allows you to run faster for longer or have more power to surge up a hill due to your reduced loss of energy through your core region. It is the training you do in a gym or outside with specific apparatus. This sort of training can be easily overlooked..... which is a BIG mistake, for both recreational and elite athletes. Heidi is a qualified L1 Strength and Conditioning coach, and Personal Trainer. She can assess you and your needs, your weakness and goals and come up with a specific plan as to how to improve these things through a strength program. She can work along side your current coaches if that is required. Strength and conditioning programs regularly change and develop as does your other training. Phases and per iodization is very important to fit in with your other training and your performance goals.

Heidi always needs do an initial consultation to evaluate you specific needs, strengths, weakness - and to discuss goals. She then will see you perform these sessions 1-2 times per program before she lets you do it on your own (inclusive in program price), Some athletes like Heidi to train them every week as their personal trainer.
